Hotel Bären

I had an apartment on the 4th floor, for the money the accommodations were spot on. A very quaint part of town that has lots of walking avenues. The views from my room overlooked the storybook town. This was my first trip to Germany, as I went for training at our parent company. I never imagined that when I went that the hotels would be so different from what we have in the US. The building was built in the 1850's but was remodeled to a more modern Era, as you walk in the entrance there is a big spiral staircase to the upper floors. My room had a double bed with plenty of room to move around, small bathroom with a corner shower, a small kitchen with stove/oven microwave and sink. And a desk and small seating area with futon.|Definitely worth the stay, my coworker stayed in the room nextdoor and his only complaint was the bell tower in town that rings every hour. I was able to tune it out. But every small town in Southern Germany has a bell tower.|Breakfast was very good.

Very centrally located in the middle of that little town. Cozy house and very friendly staff, rooms are satisfying with some traditional and some modern elements. Free Internet and mini bar is enough equipped. Can be a little bit noisy in the evening. Free parking. Breakfast was ok, not overloaded and

I stayed at this hotel on business and myself and several colleagues were booked here by our supplier|Its a superb location for the shops , bars and restaurants of the town centre and the area is quiet.|However the hotel has odd arrangements,|||We arrived around 8pm to find the hotel deserted and the front door locked. A passcode allowed access to a number of keys. all confusing as no one was inside at all to tell us where to go.||We eventually found our rooms , but only after trying a number of unmarked doors on different floors.||After a long journey , this was the last thing we needed||My colleagues room had little more than a cabin bed where his feet went over the edge.|My room was on the highest floor and was more of an apartment , but most uncomfortable. The kitchen area would be welcome for families but not the old food in the fridge which I found whist looking for a bottle opener.||I have no idea of the price of the rooms as our host paid but taking into account the welcome , the hard beds and the limited breakfast I would hope that the bill would be small|

This hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian zone / very quiet||Not any service later than 18.00 // you have to call a numebr - freindly lady helps you to get access - is a bit complicated.||Wifi did not work / took one day to get it solved by telephone ||I got a clean, big room - a bit old fashioned. ||standard good breakfast ||pricing OK and correct

Comfortable, big and clean rooms. Nice place to stay for some nights.

Internet could be... Way better. Food is nice tho. Rooms are sweet.
